The book is bound in fresh green cloth with gilt titles, nicks to the spine ends, fore edge lightly foxed. Internally very fresh with 31 colour plates by A M Hughes. The final fold out map is torn out but complete. In a very good dust jacket, rubbed to the spine ends, with an attractive cover illustration. Extra postage charges may apply as this is a heavy volume. From the collection of English mountaineer George Band, the youngest member of the successful team which conquered Mount Everest in 1953.
