Heavy cracking to rear hinge. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Heavy bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends, causing leather to peel. Boards are slightly bowed and sunning and water damage.

Book has a slight forward lean. Boards are visibly bowed. Severe sunning all over.

Ex-Bangor Theological Seminary Library; leather of spine deteriorating and beginning to delaminate; some edgewear, rubbing of leather; leather of hinges deteriorating; rear cover separated but present; Sterne's portrait by acidity has produced a reverse image on the title page; otherwise clean, sound copy .
