Hardcover, 142 pp., clean unmarked text, Very Good copy, minor ex-library treatments (bookplate on the front pastedown, small library stamps on a couple of pages), some soiling or discoloration to the covers, some wear to the edges of the covers, no dust jacket.

Grass green textured leather covered boards (I think it is leather) White vellum spine and corner tips. 231 pp. and 215 pp. Vellum spines have a few finger smudges. Previous owner's name on ffep of volume I. Overall both volumes are very good.. Engraved title pages. Nice frontispiece etching of Stevenson in volume I..

The great mass of manuscripts, books, and other personal belongings of R. L. S. sold at auction in New York City in 1914-1915, while much of the world was distracted by The Great War. These poems appear here for the first time, and with a number of facsimiles of the original mss.

Half parchment over cloth-covered boards, titled in gilt on spine; 142pp. Straight and tight, with slight darkening to vellum on spine; text crisp, clean, and free of foxing. Near Fine, lacking the slipcase.

Very Good with some foxing and staining.Also present: hand-written letter with signed initials by the author.
