The locations travelled to and studied include Damascus, Egypt, Nazareth, Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Each is examined through a Biblical lens, and supplemented with theological observations.To the front free endpaper is a contemporary inscription dedicated to Mr and Mrs James Suttie, 'on the occasion of their silver wedding', dated 11th November 1904.
