Descripción:
Charles Scribner's Sons, 1958. Hard. Fine. Second Printing inscribed and signed by author on title page. Decorated gold colored cloth. Fine in crisp, clean, unclipped ($2.50) jacket with triangular front chip and half-inch tear. Kahl's gay 3-color illustrations and bright text shows her gifted touch in this whimsical variation of the Meistersinger theme about Droopsi, a boy from the Bavarian village of Pfeffernussenhofen who (badly) plays the concertina in a contest between his village and its neighbors.
