(Boards strong, clean, sharp, and square, just slightly rounded at spine tips.) Slightly dusty top text block edge. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket (jacket a little chipped on corners and spine ends, lightly bumped on edges, minor shelf wear visible on verso). Dust jacket now protected in an archival-quality mylar sleeve which is not adhered to the volume or the jacket. Charles Whiting, second world war veteran and historian, Charles also wrote under the names Leo Kessler, Duncan Sterling, Ian Harding, John Kerrigan and others.
