More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

[xix] pp180 A lovely copy of the eighth edition of Wilde's one act play, Salome, published along with fragments of La Sainte Courtisane and A Florentine Tragedy. The book is near fine in green boards which are faded to the top edges but otherwise very fresh with sharp corners. The edges of the pages are a little foxed, the binding is tight and the book appears to be unread. In the rare near fine dust jacket which is clean and bright apart from a few spots and one short closed tear to the head of the spine. Near Fine 1927
