(792 illustrations, 20 Plates in color) Very large, very thick, very heavy book (additional postage will be needed), quality green cloth, gilt lettering bright on spine, browned inside covers with tape stains. 1370 glossy pages, double-column for text. Light brown stain at top of long pages' exterior edge. Good.

Giving this book a "good" condition designation, despite there being underlining (with a ruler!) in red ball point pen or red felt tip throughout. Various chapters throughout have the underlining. Two & half inches thick and weighs nearly 7 pounds, due to the usage of glossy paper stock. Green cloth boards have some fading and light soiling, with a minimum of wearing to corner tips and spine edges. Corner tips are bumped. Gilt on spine is bright. Shelf wearing, of course, with the head and heel of the spine being bent. Light browning of the glue and pastedowns in front and rear gutters, with moisture waves. Pages have mellowed but are not "age-toned." Textblock somewhat darkened and smudged. Overall, a nice textbook for consultation. 1,370 pps.
