["Stars & Stripes" Writers' Copy - Jack Luckett with Drawing]; Sepia toned photos; Oblong 8vo 8" to 9" tall; 320 pages; Oversize oblong format HC soundly bound in original blue cloth with color pictorial panel mounted to the cover board. Spine unlettered, as issued. Appears to have been a gift to fellow writers on staff of the Stars and Stripes who travelled back to the states on one of the several return journeys made by the troop ship, Pretoria. Penned to the verso of the title page is a gift inscription to memebers of Squad 1 of the Stars and Stripes is singed by Jack Luckett. Above that is a longer personalized and humorous gift inscription to "Wally" recounting some less than full sober days at the Louis Bar in Paris.
