Col. de Guinzbourg was with the Military Staff of the United Nations. He solicited these international proverbs from the representatives to the United Nations. Multi-lingual texts by way of reproducing facsimiles of the responses Guinzbourg requested. Many of these proverbs are related to diplomacy and diplomatic practices.
