Hardcovers, three volume matched set: two volumes being the actual title itself in the third book being the matching salesman sample. These books have been together since they were new. All three volumes are the same design of three-quarter bound leather with gilt designs and text. All books are in their original state and leather is wearing and peeling to the finish. The two volume actual book set has marbled end pages and front and rear, both books are basically in the same condition with exterior edge and corner wear to the boards, binding being good with no cracks, no handwriting or bookplates, no library markings. Two-volume set grades at G++ to VG-. The salesman sample exterior is in slightly better shape but the front marbled end page is detached and torn/frayed.
