Small portion missing from head of spine. Front free endpaper partially attached to front pastedown. Previous ownership inscriptions to half-title and rear endpaper plus two delightful pencil drawings of a girl and boy to rear endpapers. Owners were all in Lantwitt Major. Some browning and very occasional staining to pages otherwise a remarkably clean and sound copy for a book that is over 250 years old!

The wrapper is bright, but it is price clipped, a little worn and chipped at extremities and has a couple of small close tears along top margins and very slight loss at bottom corner of rear cover and top corner of front cover.
