Lovely book of Whitman's Calamus Poems illustrated with many beautiful homoerotic photographs by seven photographers including John Dugdale. An attractive book.Vg/vg Laid in is a very nice 20pg. catalog brochure from an exhibition "Walt Whitman America's Poet" that was held in the gallery at the main branch of the New York Public Library in 2019.

L.A.: Gilbert Rich & Assocs., 1959. First Edition . Large Paper. Original 9" x 12" 24pg. souvenir program for "The World Of Carl Sandburg"that Bette Davis and her then husband, Gary Merrill, toured America for about a year. This was more a less a dramatic reading of the poet Carl Sandburg's life and work and featured folk songs, anecdotes and a tribute to Lincoln. I'm assuming that this is from the original Los Angeles production because when it finally came to Broadway in 1960, Merrill was gone, replaced by Leif Ericson who is mainly known as being once married to Frances Farmer. The "play" lasted for only 29 performances. The bright red covers have a small soft corner crease to the bottom corner and minor light soiling. Insides are illustrated with many photos of Bette Davis along with material on Carl Sandburg. Scarce. Vg.

Large book of tributes, poems, drawings, photographs andi interviews in homage to the late poet Ted Berrigan who died in 1983. A virtual who's who of the New York School of Poets have contributed to the book. A few tiny stain spots on the first few pgs. and a small old piece of tape and tiny scrape on the front panel of the dustjacket. vg/vg.

INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY ALEX GILDZEN. 13 poems by the poet that have been incorporated into large loose 11" x 14" black intricate line drawings on heavy glossy silver stock that are a cross between Art Nouve and acid rock poster designs. Includes a dedication page and an edition pg. which this copy is number ten of only 100 copies issued. Although not called for this copy has been inscribed by the poet to an artist and poet. Set in a large black envelope as issued. Very scarce especially inscribed. Near fine.

Both are vg+ Also laid in is a very nice fold-over brochure for "Beat Memories The Photographs of Allen Ginsberg" from the Grey Art Gallery at NYU from early 2013. Illustrated
