"The Judiciary Committee, having had under consideration the bill referred to them entitiled 'A bill to repeal all acts of the legislature of New Mexico authorizing slavery or i nvoluntary servitude, except as punishment for crime,' report the same back to the House of Representatives, with an amendment that the same pass, and that it be put upon its passage;..." 39 pp. Disbound government document. Residue from book binding remains on spine edge, spine is creased with some small string-binding holes present. Document pages are browning along edges with some chipping, some corners are creased, small foxing spots present. Text is easily legible. Document in Good+ to VG- condition.. Paper Cover. Good+. 1864. Delivered in the Senate of the United States, April 5, 1864. 24 pp. String-tied document with chipping along edges, corners are bent. Tears along spine to front and back pages. Page edges are browning from age and foxing throughout, but text is still legible. Some small silverfish holes on back page corner. Several pages in the document are uncut.
