B&W illustrations. Light bumping and age toning to edges of wraps, else fine. 'Organised crime' remains an element of statistics until it is illustrated by actual cases. In Nice, organised crime flourishes, Graham Greene claims, under the tacit protection of the police and the judiciary. J'Accuse gives a vivid pen portrait of a criminal in his protected 'milieu.' Greene shows himself faithful to his vocation to speak for the victims.
