Soiled, edge wear, rubbing, sheets misaligned, staples replaced, a good or so example of a crudely produced pamphlet.
Ms. Argo was a member of the now disbanded Sister Split, a lesbian-feminist spoken-word and performance art collective in San Francisco. Among the vignettes presented here are "With All the Girl Skin Going By," "Sometimes Me and My Best Friend Accidentally Fuck," and "Swallow." Her other books include "The Creamsickle" which won a Lambda award, and "Girls I've Run Away With."

Covers lightly browned at the upper margins, modest offsetting, foxing, & toning mostly at endpapers & pastedowns, occasional minor handling marks, otherwise very good in browned & foxed dust jacket, rubbed at the fold along the spine, with edge wear including nicks & small losses, still good or better.
Spender's seventh book of poetry, this dedicated to sister-in-law Margaret Spender who died on Christmas day, 1945

The self-taught photographer's first book, Raymond Vino died just four years after publication.

The Sexual Freedom League was founded in 1963 in New York City by Jefferson Poland (also known as Jefferson Fuck Poland and Jefferson Clitlick) and Leo Koch. Among the luminaries associated with the league were Margo St. James, Richard Thorne (also known as "Ohm"), and "Mother Boats," AKA Brian Traynor.

Ann Arbor, Michigan: Ann Arbor Revolutionary Lesbians/ Spectre Collective, no date [1972]. Folio broadside (14" x 8.5"). Folded once horizontally, slightly toned, otherwise Fine. Spectre, the voice of the Ann Arbor Revolutionary Lesbians, published just six tabloid newspaper issues in 1971 & a broadside in 1972 (here offered) announcing termination of publication. As they explain:"Real change has got to happen. So now we're gonna put our energy into the dykes we care about alot - to make everyday struggles that we have to make ... to have more energy to give the everyday support that we need ... so that we KNOW that the changes, the support are REAL …"

Enormously controversial in its day, Dr Sol Gordon's "Ten Facts," directed at adolescents, was the most popular of his "Zing Comix" series. By 1974, as the New York Times reports, 625,000 copies had been sold. With a strong hippie - psychedelic vibe, using what today seems like a pragmatic, non-judgmental approach, Gordon covers masturbation, homosexuality, perversion, venereal disease, penis size, pornography, abortion, and more. Very sexy bondage & LGBTQ themes presenting a pair of gorgeous blonde girls: Erika in a leather bustier & heels, apparently sans panties, Cheryl in thigh high boots. We were unable to find any reference for them but we assume they had a burlesque, striptease act.

Troy Perry, founder of the Metropolitan Community Church, who was apparently contemplating a run for Lieutenant Governor. Trace of soiling, otherwise fine. Probably a one off, we find no indication of further publication. Includes a poem by Cynthia Woodworth entitled "For Her."
