Rossetti, Alfred Tennyson, James Whitcomb Riley, Frank Dempster Sherman, Abbie Farwell Brown, and Augusta Stevenson. 128 pp, tanned text block, some pages have stains, fingerprints and small tears or chips, but text is otherwise unmarked and in very good reading condition. Ivory cloth boards with orange, green and black pictorial cover boards are quite worn and soiled, spine and edges are rubbed/fraying. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, binding is tight with no hinge cracks. First Readers were handled by small children and received wear accordingly.
