Publisher's plum cloth binding with gilt lettering, some general wear and marking. Contents loose, the Gutta Percha binding has failed as usual and the pages and plates now separated. Plates very good and clean, uncut letterpress pages and tissue guards variably spotted and bruised to edges. Original black coated end papers. Sold as a collection of plates. [Bibliographic note: Jaggard. p. 234 states that only 75 small paper copies and 25 large paper published. This agrees with the list of subscribers, given on pp. 35 to 37, which lists 84 names of which some had multiple copies and 20 subscribed to large paper copies.
