New York: Bobbs-Merrill, 1938. First Edition. Hardcover. The book itself is tight and nearly fine, showing almost no wear. The jacket has been expertly restored, a fact that is evident from examining the verso, but both jacket panels and the spine are all very true and bright in color so that externally it almost appears at first to be new. The price has been clipped from the lower inner front flap.. First Edition. Hardcover. Stated first edition, first state of the binding. It is stated on the copyright page that this novel was previously published in Britain under the title CAMERA OBSCURA. This is therefore the first American edition with this title of book published by John Long in 1935. 8vo light green cloth. The author's name is spelled "Nabokoff". A stunning copy in an expertly restored, price-clipped dj. PLEASE NOTE that all our First Editions are also First Printings, unless we specifically note otherwise. New York: Scientific American, 1969. First Edition. Softcover. 2 stapled booklets, both fine. Housed together in a large sturdy archival folder with 4 folding protective inner flaps.. First Edition. Softcover. Signed on front cover by Updike. First separate edition of this poem. Small square 6"x6" booklet, together with W.H. Auden's A NEW YEAR GREETING, a companion booklet of the same size. The 2 booklets were included in the December 1968 issue of Scientific American. They were included together in a sort of paper wallet (not included here). Although 6,220 (!) of these were printed, very few have survived, and both are collector's items - especially the Updike. There is a tiny crease halfway down the spine of the Updike, but it is otherwise fine, and the Auden is also fine. Offered as a pair. Very good. The menu has soft creases and minor nicks and wear along the edges, but is overall, well-preserved.. Approximately 10" x 12.25" menu from the former Tic Toc Club in Boston, which was located at 245 Tremont Street, opposite the Metropolitan Theatre (now known as the Wang Theatre), in the heart of the theater district. The menu is SIGNED BY FATS WALLER and one other person (Irene Marconi?), likely a local musician. Fats Waller was a celebrated jazz pianist, composer, singer, and comedic entertainer, and most active during the 1920s and 1930s until his untimely death in 1943. The menu is from the first of several Tic Toc Club locations in Boston, and featured big name band performances. It is not known how the menu came to be signed by Waller, but whether or not he actually performed at the Tic Toc or not, it is likely a club he would have visited if in Boston. Very unique autograph piece of this jazz icon. PLEASE NOTE that all our First Editions are also First Printings, unless we…

Eschewing the sensationalism of the infamous murders, this account offers insight into the group's life as hitch-hiking hippies during the late 1960s, exploring their preparation for an anticipated revolution or societal collapse. Fromme's narrative, which is occasionally poetic and at times preachy with an emphasis on environmental issues, is complemented by…
