London: Buttewrworth & Co, 1946 Copy quarter bound with green cloth on boards and gilt title on spine. Slight wear to head/foot of spine. "SIGNED BY TRANSLATOR ON FFE." Slight foxing to front and rear end papers and on folio edges, oterwise clean and tidy copy. Rare.

London: Academy Editions, 1970 1.1/2" tear at foot of spine and slight chipping at head. Lower cover has some creasing at bottom corner. Some light yellowing around margins, otherwise tidy outers. Contents are clean and free of inscriptions. Numerous coloured folios. Very scarce.

Free of inscriptons. some very small smudge marks on bottom corner of folio edges. Fold out mapat rear. Clean and flat contents.

Richmond: The Richmond Publishing Co, 1978 Grey slipcase is in Good condition. Volume 1 'Towards Total Revolution, has a dust jacket with repaired tears, copy has clean contents, thus Good. Volume 2, ' Politics in India', jacket and copy in Very Good condition. Volume 3, 'India and Her problems', jacket and copy in Very Good condition. Volume 4, 'Total Revolution', both jacket and copy in Very Good condition. Scarce in this 4 volume slipcase set.

London: Gibbings & Co, 1897 Light mauve cloth on boards with silver gilt illustration on cover and spine. A little rubbing to head/foot of spine but no abrasions and outers are clean and bright. Previous owner's signature and small WH Smith embossed library stamp on FFE. Clean endpapers and frontis with tissue guard. Numerous engraved illustrations and clean contents. rough-cut pages. Scarce in this first illustrated edition.

Bradford: MCB Publications, 1981 Copy in blue cloth on boards with gilt armourial on cover and gilt title on spine. Spine is sunned. "COMPLIMENTS SLIP AND CHRISTMAS CARD SIGNED BY AUTHOR ENCLOSED. "FROM THE LIBRARY OF THE LATE JOHN ALDERSON FORMER CHIEF CONSTABLE OF DEVON AND CORNWALL". Occasional margin notes from previous owner, otherwise clean text.

London: Henry Lintot, 1739 Contemporary full calf with seven spine compartments between raised bands. Leather labels in second and third compartments with gilt-tooled title "Cases in Equity" and VOL. I. Some abrasions and tears to calf. Spine is firm with some peel back on edges.Front pastedown has previous owner's name inscribed (Thomas Henry). Clean FFE detached and laid in with . Title page has similar small inscription on top margin (John Karslake 1800). Contents are extremely clean and bright and appear to be unread. This is the 1st printing of the Third Edition in 1739. Printed by E & R Nutt and R Gosling.

London: HMSO, 1918 Copy in brown cloth on boards. Spine edges are rather tatty but considering this binding holds 3900 pages plus large 208 page index, it is surprisingly stable. This is the Army List for January 1918 corrected to 31 December 1917. Also contains 16 pages of publisher's adverts at rear. This is a scarce volume in this extended edition and contains full war service records of serving officers. Front endpaper is loose and laid in, otherwise contents clean and binding sound.

London: L Davis & C Reymers, 1758 Bound in full calf with raised bands on spine. Abrasions to rear cover. Corners worn to boards. Spine has raised bans with red leather title plate. Head/foot of spine are worn. Nicks and abrasions to upper cover. Wear to front paste down with remnants of owners bookplate. Clean FFE and title page. Contents are clean and tight and free of inscriptions. Some very light water staining to top margins of later folios. Rear end papers are clean. This title has fair outers with very good contents. A scarce and fascinating book, published some 200 years after Mores execution.

London: Hutchinson, 1993 Copy in green cloth on boards with silver gilt title on spine. Dust jacket is unclipped (£14.99) and clean with slight creasing around top edge of spine. Grey end papers are clean and free of inscriptions. This is the second printing (3579864 Code) of the first edition. Slight liquid stain on front and top fore-edge, otherwise folios clean and flat. Inlaid with contemporary article by Faulks on the writing of this now famous book.

Covers are a little discoloured with some abrasion to the black illustration though gilt remains bright. Spine is sunned though titles still legible. Lower cover has some sporadic flecking and discoloration, though overall outers are sound and flat. Decorated end papers are free of inscriptions. Frontis with tissue guard. Very clean text and firm binding

London: William Kimber, 1980 Copy in blue cloth on boards with bright gitl title on spine. Jacket is tidy though slight sunning to title on spine. "SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR." iNSCRIBED TO DERYCK GROOCOCK OF 194 SQADRON RAF. This inscription was signed at the 194 SQN reunion on the 7th March 1981. Ths remarkable thing about this copy is that it also inscribed on the half title page by fellow pilots of 194 including Bird-Wilson, Stephens, Kelly, Bowlding and several others. A fascinating piece of RAF History and a tribute to a legendary fighter pilot.
