Limitation page torn and repaired with discoloured tape. 1 plate re-attached with discoloured tape. Shaken, a few sections working loose. Inscription on half title and on title page. 34x26cms.

Examples of decorative painted designs produced by using stencils and traced designs listed in this catalogue and which could be purchased from this company. Complex and delicate Art Nouveau decorations for walls, borders, etc. with some specifically for staircases. An attractive collection. Price list inside front and rear covers. The plates are printed on one side of the sheet only and are loose contained in original worn folder. Edges of plates frayed and soiled, little foxed. 45x33cms.

Collins, London, 1950. x + 188pp. Profusely illustrated. This volume is one of an edition limited to 500 copies, signed by the artist. Contains loose signed print in envelope. Boards, cloth spine. Inscription on limitation page. A very nice clean copy in worn slip case. 36x27cms.

William Mackenzie, London, n.d. (c.1870). 3 volumes complete. Pagination irregular as it includes 'all those pecularities of paging, spelling, and punctuation' of the original 'First Folio'. Illustrated with 20 photographic engravings from drawings by Sir J. Noel Paton, 2 portraits of Shakespeare, 1 photo illus of Holy Trinity Church, Stratford on Avon and another of Shakespeare's tomb in 'Stratford Church'. The engravings are India-proof impressions. Bound in the publisher's full dark green morocco with raised bands and gilt titles and decorations on the spines. The covers are decorated in gilt and have deeply inset oval central panels with gilt titles and heraldic emblems. Covers are scuffed (mainly to extremities), with some loss of surface leather (causing small scarring to the gilt date of a decorative device on one volume), but still look very impressive. Thames and Hudson. London, 1961. 32pp + monotone and colour plates. A few black and white illustrations in the text. Decorated end papers. English texts. Decorated cloth boards, slightly edge worn. Spine little browned. Top of spine and corner of front cover little bumped with minor bumping to text and a few plates. Small red mark on reverse of front free end paper. Cloth and card slipcase, little scuffed. Lower edge of slip case little frayed, bump to outer top corner. Snag to lower corner, the paper has been torn (5cms) and there is a small amount of paper loss (5mm). Slipcase slightly sprung. Overall a nice copy. 39x28cms.

Small notch to top and bottom of front board (possibly from being tied up in a bundle). Inscription on front free end paper, outer pages little fingered, a good sound copy. 29x23cms.
