Ixaxaar Occult Literature, 2008. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Octavo. Limited to 434 hand-numbered copies, this being No. 195. Black cloth with silver stamped titles and seal to front. Spine titled in silver. Black endpapers. 212 pages. Black and white illustrations, seals, and sigils. Exceedingly scarce in the first edition. A near fine copy in a near fine dust jacket. This book of the Scythe-Bearer provides a solid theoretical, historical and mythical foundation for the Cult of the Left-Handed Reaper, and offers clear instruction for ritual practice connected to both the folk-magical tradition, as well as the more sinister, hidden line of traditional witchcraft connected to the Cult of the Skeletal Lord of the Bloody Scythe. Written by the Magister of the Temple of the Black Light and the Templum Falcis Cruentis, and illustrated with selected original artworks depicting the esoteric manifestations of the Lord of Death, Liber Falxifer presents a unique and powerful system of both low… Leer más

Princeton University Press, 1969. Second Printing. Large quarto. Title page in red and black. xiv + 118 pp. + 70 full-page b/w plates and additional illustrations including one fold-out diagram. Some edge and corner wear, dust jacket is price clipped with some mild wear. A very good copy in like dust jacket. This is the scarcest volume of this series. The earliest version of religious texts of ancient Egypt, which are today generally known as the Pyramid Texts, appeared first on the walls of the burial chambers of King Unas, in his pyramid at Sakkara, near Cairo. These potent spells were inscribed in order to assist the king's passage from his earthly body into the world of the beyond, and they imply the recognition of his human qualities that must undergo divine transformation after death. As the first of the pyramids to bear inscriptions in its interior, it is one of the oldest literary documents not only of Egypt but of mankind itself. The inscriptions of Unas are a relatively late discovery,… Leer más

New York: Hippocampus Press, 2010. First Edition. Hardcover. Large octavo. Two Volumes. 1148 total pages. Bound in black cloth with silver spine titles. In original pictorial dust jackets. Illustrated with b&w photographs and illustrations. A near fine set in like dust jackets. Note: Photos show some camera glare from the mylar dust jacket covers. S. T. Joshi s award-winning biography H. P. Lovecraft: A Life (1996) provided the most detailed portrait of the life, work, and thought of the dreamer from Providence ever published. But that edition was in fact abridged from Joshi's original manuscript, and this expanded and updated edition restores the 150,000 words that Joshi omitted and, in addition, updates the texts with new findings from Lovecraft research since Joshi's original biography was issued. This is a monumental work and will remain until the end of time, the most definitive work on Lovecraft's life.

Dublin: Kerubim Press, 2012. First Edition. Hardcover. Octavo. 362 pp. Limited to 100 hardcover copies (this is No. 17) SIGNED by Nick Farrell on publisher’s bookplate affixed to front free endpaper. Blue cloth with gilt spine titles. Illustrated in b&w. 2 tiny corner bumps, otherwise a fine copy in like dust jacket. Extremely scarce in hardcover. Over the years many myths have built up about one of the founders of the Golden Dawn, Samuel L. MacGregor Mathers. Many of these have been created by those who wish to damn the Golden Dawn and its system of magic or by those who want to naively believe a bogus magical story about the Order and its founders. In King Over the Water, Golden Dawn magician Nick Farrell paints a picture of the founders of the Golden Dawn becoming out of their depth as the Order began to create magicians. Rather than painting Mathers as an eccentric genius, Farrell sees him as an autocratic fantasist. He sees Mathers struggling to keep up as his students rapidly became… Leer más

UK: Hell Fire Club Books, 2018. First Edition. Hardcover. Quarto. 2 Volumes. Limited to 251 hand-numbered copies in slipcase. The first volume is bound in dark green toad-effect sangrain from a vintage roll of material produced by the Ratchfords Mill in Manchester in the 1950s. Along with the main volume showing Alex Sander's notebook (details below), a second, cloth-bound volume is included with a complete transcript. Both are housed in a cloth slipcase with sangrain edges. The books are both in fine condition in a fine slipcase. The notebook contains material reflecting the hereditary witchcraft traditions of Northern England, the rituals and practices of both Gardnerian Wicca and later Alexandrian Witchcraft, as well as the teachings of Aleister Crowleys sexual magick, the ‘Key of Solomon’ and instructions for ritual and spiritual practices culled from surviving lineages of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. In Alex’s hand, the notebook is a remarkable fusion of traditional… Leer más

Munich: Theion Publishing, 2015. First Edition. Hardcover. Small quarto. 207pp. Auric Edition hand-bound in full "Kosmic Blue" leather (looks black) complemented by a consecrated silver talismanic pendant in the shape of a three-legged spinning, rotating sun wheel spraying telesmatic light, to front panel, enclosed within a blind-stamped border. Same border design to back panel. Limited to 80 hand-numbered copies, this being No. 50. With b&w photographs. A near fine copy. This groundbreaking release is the first authoritative work on Ludwig Klages and his pagan metaphysics ever to be published in English. Without a doubt Klages is one of the most intriguing and enigmatic pagan thinkers of the early 20th Century. A figure of great controversy he radically rejected Christianity and Monotheism in favor of a pan-daemonic paganism. Advocating the return to primordial states of consciousness through magico-erotic encounters with the living powers of the ensouled cosmos, Klages was a driving… Leer más
