Bookplate in book denoting book was given by the Gielgud Estate to The Globe Library. Interior is unmarked otherwise with light toning. Brownish red cloth with gilt to spine edge. Corners and spine cloth moderately worn with some bent corners. DJ has many chips and tears, unclipped

Full-Leather. Poor/No Jacket. Missing frontispiece and title page but based on description believed to be 1828 edition printed by T.W. White, printer in Richmond, VA. Black and gilt to spine with legible title. Heavy wear to leather with much scuffing at edges and soiling, two cuts into back cover and corners heavily worn. Boards are moderately warped. Endpapers are present, missing title and frontispiece and begins with Content missing 1/3 piece from top corner. After that all pages present, 192p.remarkably tight. Heavy foxing throughout

Southern Publishing Association, 1946. Hard Cover. Good-/No Jacket. Good with black covers, bright gilt to spine and front cover. The only markings is partially filled out Holy Matrimony page otherwise clean, toned lightly. Decorative endpapers and marbled text edge. Heavy wear to spine cloth edges and fraying at top edge. Some paperclip shadows on a few pages. Starting to loosen a bit at hinges but still tight and square. Corners rubbed.

Wiley-Blackwell, 1999. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Good with nice covers, tight and square. Some light marginalia (mostly brackets) in pen throughout.

E P Dutton, 1972. Soft Cover. Good-. Good- with previous owner's name stamp (small) on ffep. Heavy crease to front cover and chip & tear to top of spine. Beginning to pull from spine edge at bottom. Other than that, nice clean text.

Thomas Jefferson Memorial Association, 1905. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket. Set of 20 volumes in 10 volumes. Green cloth with burgundy spine label & gilt title. Gilt to top edge and rough trimmed pages. Books are all clean and unmarked, text is toned with frontispiece and tissue but have had some moderately heavy wear to cloth.2 Vols have hinges exposed but all are fairly tight. Vol XV-XVI has 2 pages torn. Vol XIX-XX has 1" tear at top of spine and spine cloth beginning to separate. Others have fraying at top of spine and a couple have some spotting to spine. Shipping international or priority will be additional due to heavy weight.

DJ is unlipped has light spotting and 1" chip at bottom edge, library barcode sticker on DJ back. Tight and square.
