USouth DR glass DJCLO: This copy has an inscription by Robinson, to a young man who was receiving a Little League Award, as in the phot herein. Laid in is a card from the former owner of the book, a dealer, telling of how the young boy Bruce Brandsenn was awarded the book, and how it came to be signed by Jackie Robinson. Very light musty aroma from storage. The book is the second printing, and is as new in an as new un-clipped dust jacket.

This scarce item of 112 pages, has a santa in a sled pulled by one antlered reindeer on yellow paper over boards cover. The engravings include a Frontis, "William in the Garden, " and then "William and His Father By The Sea Shore, " just before the story, A Rambling Chapter, at page 84, "William With His Parents. " The inscription on the fronte dfree end paper reads "A. E. Edmonds from T. Thayer, Andover, Aug. 1837. " Condition. Covers, tip[s worn to the boards, staining to the upper left corner of the cover, interior, a few pages have chipped edges. Basically, in Fair condition, with most of the pages nice white cotton rage paper, and a little foxing. .

This 1709, (on the title page) first edition is beautifully and professionally, bound in new 3/4 blue leather and blue cloth. with 1709 on the title page, Frontis is the portrait of Aaron Hill. Title page, dedication to the Queen, then the preface, followed by the four pages of subscriber's (No apostrophe S in the books spelling) names,two pages with the "The heads of two and fifty chapters," Then page one, "The present state of Aethiopia," and finis is at page 339. Aged paper yet in very good condition with no serious flaws. Language: eng. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
