Not Given. Good. 1661. Hardcover. Rebound copy of original four books, with some missing components. The portrait of King Charles I noted in other copies is missing. A previous (early) bookseller noted "Imperfections", including missing "to Book 2nd, page 66 to 71, to Book the 3rd, page 8 to 11, page 68 to 71, page 74 to 77, page 80 to 85, and to Book the 4th, page 50 to 53" Covers are half leather with gilt title on spine, patterned paper on balance. Front hinge cracked but text block solid. Pages notably clean with some foxing, a few small tears including old repairs, and a few inky fingerprints. ; 11.75 x 7.75 x 1.60 inches .

Charles L. Webster and Company. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1889. Hardcover. Edition not stated, possibly the second edition. Very good hardcover with tight binding and clean pages. No dust jacket, but probably never had one. Leather on board covers is worn and slightly stained, but that is expected for the book's age. End pages and leaf ends are marbled. Pages are slightly yellowed and foxed around the edges. A few pages have very small tears along the edges. Book is in excellent condition for its age and is protected in a mylar bag. London: Printed for G. Kearsley. Good with no dust jacket. 1790. Hardcover. Leather bound volume, pages generally secure but missing front free end paper and one section is half loosened. Balance of endpapers nicely marbled. Substantial foxing, page edges worn, with several dog eared pages and small tears. Relatively clean save for a previous owner name penciled on title page, the Arabic numeral date penciled next to printed roman numerals, some very old fountain ink marks on two pages, and pin dot initials on about eight pages. ; 7.10 X 4.20 x 1.20 inches .

Elfriede Abbe. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1954. Limited Edition. Hardcover. A numbered, hand printed first edition printed and illustrated by Elfriede Abbe. This copy is #68 of 90. The paper is handmade Japanese Kochi paper. The illustrations mostly wood block engravings, with two zinc plates. One large foldout. Oversized half green cloth with green paper boards. Minor edgewear and bumped corners. Text very clean, an erased name on a free end paper. A beautiful book. ; 11.90 x 8.55 x 1.75 inches; Elfriede Abbe enjoys a lifetime of artistic recognition and achievement. A graduate of Cornell University in 1940, Abbe has worked as sculptor, wood engraver and botanical illustrator, and has published numerous hand-printed books on a manual press that still takes up the better part of her home studio. Her wood engravings are in collections including the libraries of Cornell University, Yale University and Carnegie-Mellon University .

U. S. A.: Office of The Chief of Naval Operations. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1945. First Edition. Hardcover. Sturdy gray cloth on boards, owner's name on front end page: Capt. J. H. Creveling USMCR, else clean pages throughout and tight binding. Color illustrations throughout are sharp. This is the step-by-step manual to flying, primarily for flying while making use only of the instrument panel. Also explained are the physical forces entailed by an aircraft while flying. ; 8.25 x 10.75 x 0.50 inches; 143 pages .

Harper & Brothers. Good+ with no dust jacket. 1936. Hardcover. Harper & Bros. Printed the first american copy of this book in 1936, though this one states printed in Great Britain, I believe it is the 1936 edition. Scarce title in Faber & Faber edition or this Harper edition. This copy does have edgewear especially at the spine and both top and bottom of spine are chipped. Some minor scuffs show up on the pictorial covers. The text though is clean with just a few foxing spots and minor tanning, and the wonderful illustrations are bright. No DJ. Author is grandson of Charles Darwin, and primarily a golf writer. He died in 1961. His wife, Elinor was an Irish engraver and portrait painter. ; 7.70 x 9.75 x 0.50 inches .

A rare edition, two volumes, of the Revolutionary War era from the unique point of view of the other side. Yale University Ex-Library. Heavy green cloth on boards with gilt on spine. Vol. 1: Good/Good Minus, infrequent and minor pencil, partial loosening of some pages, inserts protected with tissue. Vol 2: Good-Minus/Poor, extensive loosening and cracking of pages near inside spine, but still present and in order, many partial others completely. Age discoloration to paper. Usual Yale University Ex-Library stickers/stamps. Nonetheless an important document for the study of American/English history. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

London: Printed for John Nutt. Good+. 1705. Hardcover. Leather bound volume with four ridges on spine. Moderate wear at cover edges, especially spine. Attractive blind stamping on front and back covers. Title on spine in gilt. At the back there are sections entitled "The Bookseller Advertisement " with "Fragments" - "A Discourse concerning the Mechanical Operation of the Spirit, &c." Hinge cracked but text block still securely attached. Pages generally clean and bright with some foxing, more foxing and smudges on end papers. Adhesive residue on front end page from bookplate. Tucson, Arizona: Acme Printing. Good with no dust jacket. 1928. Presumed First. Hardcover. Rust cloth boards have wear at edges and bumped corners. Spine has a slight cock. End papers are yellowing, but text paper is a little higher quality, slightly glossy, and still bright. There are several printer errors that result in page creases and one tab that looks torn but is not actually a missing page. Numerous photos of those notorious characters and locations. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

Has been framed, currently in protective flat. Issued as Volume 6 of The Unspeakable Visions of the Individual series by publishers Arthur and Kit Knight. The poem is by Jack Kerouac's friend Neal Cassady, dated March 30 1954, with an illustration of Kerouac by Neal's wife Carolyn Cassady. Rare and cool item. ; 14 x 22; 1 pages .

Front endpapers, half title, and frontispiece have come free, but are present. Water stain to bottom interior hinge area throughout book. Water stain to bottom half of page affects foreward, table of contents, illustrations list through to page two. First few pages have small tears and creasing to edges.
