Many illustrations in each volume, from a variety of artists including Phiz, Cruikshank, and others. Also includes 4 hand colored illustrations in sec. 1 of the Christmas Books set. Very good, with slight fading to spines and most volumes having scuffing to leather at spines. Pages at front and rear of each volume a bit browned. Sec. 1 of the Christmas books has a bit of dampstain at heel. An attractive collection of Dickens in sturdy, nicely illustrated, and easily read volumes.
