Descripción:
Lucy Gayheart is a study of the effect that Lucy has on others told in retrospect her own point of view. The story opens twenty-five years after Lucy's death, when her memory is still fondly cherished by the residents of her small hometown: "In Haverford on the Platte the townspeople still talk of Lucy Gayheart. Most of the novel takes place during the year before Lucy's death, when she is in her early twenties and is just beginning to understand herself and to make choices about her future.

This is SHEL SILVERSTEIN'S FIRST COLLECTION OF POEMS. Shel Silverstein was a tour de force, a creative genius who not only wrote phenomenal poetry and sold more than 20 million copies of his books, he also received two GRAMMY AWARDS, a GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINATION, and an ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATION. But Shel wanted to start out as a cartoonist, tracing the works of Al Capp at age 7.
