Half brown morocco over green cloth boards with 5 raised bands and gilt titles to spine in reasonable condition with front board half detached leaving the very top of text block coming away from spine however the binding still holding firm and tight. A little wear to top and front side of spine and some rubbing to edges. Inside a little intermittent foxing throughout with plates 1,4,5 and 12 being affected. All other pages and plates in very good clean condition. Warmly inscribed to flyleaf "To Colonel F. C. Inside the slipcase the felt is a little mucky.Bound in publisher's royal blue morocco , gilt titles on spines, raised bands, gilt decorations on covers. The pages of text are in remarkably clean condition, however there is a little foxing throughout plates and description which appears to be old water damage.
