Quarto. 270 pp. With 52 illustrations, 26 of them by Parrish, most of them in color. Green cloth stamped in gold with elaborate coat of arms with two [2] lions and escutcheon and painted garden scene on front boards. Top edge gilt. Fully illustrated with color plates of Parrish and black and white photos. A seminal work on garden design and a stament to the passionate connoisseurship of one of Americas greatest writers. A sharp copy. In 2004, author Chad Harbach declared that, in retrospect, Infinite Jest "now looks like the central American novel of the past thirty years, a dense star for lesser work to orbit." Very scarce report of the second Klonvokation, which was held every two years. It was reported that there were 2,000 men and 3,000 concomitants present at the Kansas City meeting, which was held at the Kansas City Convention Center. Its meetings were held behind closed doors and a card and a password were necessary to gain admittance. Only Klansmen with courtesy cards were allowed to view the proceedings. What was published about the proceedings came through the Klan publicity office. The meeting was opened by the Grand Dragon of Nebraska.
