Rare 12 page paperback booklet/pamphlet published by Theological Students Fellowship Affiliated to the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship in Leicester England in the 1970's. The author is Dr. Kenneth A. Kitchen, Reader in Egyptian & Coptic in the School of Archaeology & Oriental Studies at the University of Liverpool. He reviews Professor Bright's "History of Israel" which was extensively revised in 1972. Kenneth Kitchen states that John Bright's work is the standard of its kind and far outstrips in quality, balance, and sanity other works in the field. There are 6 parts to the review.Published in 1973 or later. There is not an exact date. No writing or marks in text. A few light bends. Price stickers on back paperback cover.

First edition 1899 rare hardcover textbook with very good binding. Some underlines but totally readable and all pages intact without tears. Some tanning of cloth covered boards and wear to outside spine and top edge. 180 pages. The text pages are remarkably white for age. I can provide provenance if buyer is interested. Beautifully illustrated 1981 hardcover portraying the Biblical story of Moses. The book was published by Ladybird and Scripture Union in London, specially designed to introduce the Bible to children. The story of Moses is clearly and simply told and beautifully illustrated in full color! No writing in book, bends, or tears. One small smudge on edge of title page. Very good binding.

Very Rare First edition 1928 hardcover by a New Zealand authoress, Jean Devanny. She was a pioneer writer and the author of "The Butcher Shop". The spine of the jacket states this book is "a powerful study of a woman's personality in a remote New Zealand bush town". The text has no writing and is in good condition with only lightly faded pages. The jacket is worn with a few tears and crinkles plus rubbing, but still colorful. It is adhering to the cloth covered boards and there is foxing to boards. Hinges are intact. Good binding.

This 16 page softcover supplement to Robert Gurney's book "God in Control" appears to be rare. No writing or marks. Blue cover is fading slightly. Light bend to bottom left back cover. Clean white pages.

Frontispiece illustration of Mt. Katahdin. Text has no writing, tears, or missing pages. Original owner's name and address on inside first page. Hinges are cracked but no loose pages. Mild staining to cloth covered boards and some fraying at spine and corner edges of cover. First edition, so issued without a dust jacket.

Rare first edition softcover published in 1964 by Friendship Press. 224 pages with no writing in book. Includes the Background and Origins of Medical Missions! Very interesting read for anyone involved in the medical field, missions, or both! The author was born in Turkey, in Cesarea, in 1887. He was graduated from Princeton University and Cornell University Medical College and served overseas as a medical missionary for the United Presbyterian Church, U. S.A.Some discoloration and wear to outside softcover wraps. Interior and binding is in very good condition!

This is a rare original antique soft cover staple bound antique poetry book by Wallace Bruce copyright 1895. This edition was published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1898. Light discoloration of soft cover at edges and spine. Spine worn and fraying at top and bottom of spine and small tear back cover edge. Text is clean with no writing or marks other than original intent by owner from West Chester, PA 1901 on inside first page. Page 193 has small tear at top of page not intruding into text. There are several other of Wallace Bruce's poems and tributes to his poems after this. Several page edges were never separated and there is a notch at top of one page. These pages are not numbered.
