Very Good in Very Good DJ. 3 volumes, volumes I & II by Colorado University Press, inscribed first printings by the author "To name, With Best Regards, George D. Moller," on title page of both volumes. Volume III is a first printing from 2011 by University of New Mexico Press and is not signed. Volumes I and III are near fine in like dust jacket with both showing just a touch of wear, volume II is very good + with a bump at bottom corner of front cover with bit of tearing to same, in very good + dust jacket that shows light soil and edgewear including tiny chip and small tears. Three volumes combine for 1663 pages with indexes and nicely illustrated in black & white. Still a very attractive set of this noted reference to Volume I - Colonial and Revolutionary War Arms, Volume II - From the 1790s to the End of the Flintlock Period, and Volume III - Flintlock Alterations and Muzzleloading Percussion Shoulder Arms, 1840-1865.

Near fine copies show a light bit of scratching to page edges of a few volumes and a touch of rubbing here and there but this set is otherwise tight, clean and unmarked. Contains 10 volumes total including index and supplement. Leather bound with gilt to covers and page edges, raised bands, silk moire end papers and ribbon marker. Very attractive complete set edited by Basler.

Three volume set published in 1978, 1984 and 1990 respectively with all being first editions, oversized (9 by 11 1/2 approx.) volumes (no dust jackets if issued) are bound in a brown faux leather with gilt decoration and letter to covers and spines, volume 1 The Walther Pistols is inscribed on the front endpaper "For Bob Borcherdt Best thanks for your help Warren H. Buxton", all three volumes are near fine with some light shelf and trace wear including a previous owner scribble at top of front endpaper of volume II. Still an attractive set issued over the years 1978-1990 that starts with the aforementioned Walther Pistols 1930-1945 and follows with the second volume The Contract Pistols 1940-1945 and finishing with the third volume International distribution Post 1945 Addendum to Volumes i and II. Two volume set comprises nearly 2000 pages with over 1000 illustrations, some in color. Still an attractive set of this reprinting of the neurological classic by the Nobel Prize winning author and father of modern neuroscience.

Wagener and with a couple of corrections at planche 2 of explanation of plaches page at rear of text by the author as well. Good + cloth hardcover (7 by 10 1/2 approx.) with marbled boards shows rubbing to cover edges with some rub through, bumping to corners with bit of same, browning to endpapers, a couple of small edge tears at pages and toning and foxing to pages. 134 pages followed by table of contents and 6 illustrated pages, one in color and with a couple of corrections . Still a solid copy of this early work from the legendary physiologist that looks at muscle tissue generation and structure that appears to be the result of a university competition on general subjects in medicine. Still a good looking copy of this National Book Award winning work that is considered one of the great American novels.

Still an attractive set of the Kensington edition of Thackeray's works with his illustrations "..reproduced from the first impressions, both for clearness and to avoid the tampering of engravers with later plates, evident in many of the earlier sets.

Still a solid copy of this work that expands greatly on the original 1996 sword book with 900 photos in color and featuring swords including "...kyu-gunto,. cavalry swords, artillery swords, the army Red Cross sword, early naval swords, youth organization swords, court swords, police bureau swords, fire service swords, railroad swords, colonial empire swords, Manchukuoan swords, and the sword pistols developed for the cavalry to add firepower to the Type 32 saber." And of course there is much, much more.

Solid copy that retains its attractive jacket though in a much loved state of this third in the Frank Braun trilogy that follows The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Alraune, which contains that "mysticism for which Mr. Ewers is famous.." and also contains "..those other qualities which have caused so many critics to compare his work to that of Baudelaire and Poe.
