Has had some regluing on spine and strenghtening in places there since binding was shaky. Has a page with a stain and some with small dog-ears. Name from child on front-free endpage. Has a few pencil-markings that can be erased if wished but i dont dare to do that in case it might be from Ian (It is probably from someone else though). Bought from Peter Harrington who takes the authenticity of their autographs very seriously. True first state jacket. With d cut off on frodo etc. Book also first state with date 1954 in two places on first two pages and no other statement off later printing. No bad smell on book. Minor closed tear and shelf rubbing on front of jacket. tear on front of jacket.Both the book and the jacket is extremely well-preserved. The jacket has some very small rubbing. Some minor darkening in places. It has a small dust-stain on lower left on back of jacket. the spine of jacket looks a little bit tanned as in having a bit lighter colours. The jacket also has the white spots on front but all fellowship us editions i have seen have this so i wonder if it might be from the production? It has some small loss on lower part of spine. And some very small loss in places. There are a few small closed tears high up on the back as seen. These are small though. The book is in excellent condition. The books dust-jackets have previously been taped and have marks yet. The return of he king is torn in two and the one ot the sides that has been teared are now quite tender. All the books are in good condition. They have some minor marks from the paes inside. This is so little though on all books that it only appears to be some slight foxing. There are no stamps or anything like that in the books. All have the original dust-jackets with obvious tapemarks on them. Two towers no date on titlepage so actually third impression even though jacket also states second. Return seems to be a later state. But first edition. Such early as this with original dust-jackets are extremely scarce.

Fellowship seventh impression stated in book but 8th impression jacket(possibly later state of seventh impression or 8th? Two towers with original jacket. Return of the king with jacket not stating impression. There is inscription on front-free endpage on all volumes and all volumes are clipped. Otherwise the set is excellent. No bleeding through or restauration in any way on other part of jacket. Fellowship jacket has some minor tears on jacket. All 3 with maps in excellent condition and fresh inside without dog-ears and stains. Superb set

Fellowship 5th 1956 two towers 6th 1959 rotk 1959. Fellowship actual 5th with date february 1956.All three volumes have name and date written on front-free endpages. Fellowship has some foxing inside and some tears on jacket and darkening. The two towers and rotk are both in great condirion. those two jackets are clipped though. They also have some wear and marks on inside of jacket. Both have probably been glued at some point. This is only small marks on inside of jackets though and is not visible in the books themselves. Rotk has suffered some loss when having been removed then. Fellowship of the ring book has some small white stains but is still in very good condition. Rotk and two towers book are in great condition. All 3 books have maps in very good condition. A very earlt set all with original jackets.

True first edition with first edition stated. Extremely sought after. Has tape marks in the middle part of front board and back board and also first blank page on last white page and first white page. Faint line on innerside of front-board and first bland page. Previously had a ex-library marking that has been erased but left some faint moisture-marks on first 3 pages. Also some small Very fresh inside but has some very small stains in places. Faint dog-ears but really good condition almost all pages are entirely fresh. A small what appears to be ink pen on same page as erased ex-libris stamp.Very hard to find first edition. This is also original cloth alot of them are in rebound ex-libris bindings.

True first edition in swedish.Only first 32 pages had ever been read.as some minor stains on the back. Has a tear that goes through part of 2 uncut pages. Fresh inside without anything written. A few minor stains on the lower part of front. Looks mostly like it darkened a bit. They are not clear. Some smallBinding sturdy. The lowest part of spineoutwardly doesnt seem attached to the book.This is just the first 2 cm as seen.This might be from production.The binding is definitely tight Only cut up to page 33 then completely uncut.So only the first 33 pages have been read. extremely rare. Also a nice example.

The book has some wear on side and some minor wear to binding where it has gone up about a half centimeter or so. Has ex-library mark and inscription from previous owner. Some stains and a page with a tear. It has a inscription from the writer. Quite long and well-preserved. Very sought after and hard to find with signed first editions of this title. In great condition. Unrestpred dust-jacket just has a small closed tear. some minor wear on jacket but overall excellent condition.. The book has some small stains if looked from outside one of book but On inside a small faint one on front-free endpage. Has 5 seperate pages with two small stains that is jaut on the utmost end of the pages. The book is therefore definitely fresh inside. Has two folded pages with dog-ears. And 4 pages with very minor dog-ears maybe 2 mm.First american edition with all correct first issue points both jacket and book. book with no dot and first american stated. Red jacket with no extra mentions and 3 dollar price.

first edition and print f the ultra rare that King stopped for sale Rage. Numberline 10-1 The book has a clear forward-lean. Has a stain high up on the outside of pages. A 1 on front-free endpage. A few small faint dog-ears. Obvious creases on cover and back/spine as seen. Binding holds well.

In good condition! The book is fresh internally except some small foxing( overall very little). A small waterstained stain on page 111 which is now dry. The binding is holds well. Slightly forward leaning but not much at all. Has waterstains on back. Mark from previous tape on map and name written in ink. Two dog-eared pages from previous reader. There is another name that was written previously on front-free endpage but i erased this with an eraser and it is now barely noticeable. Two what looks like moisturestains on the dragon on front cover. Points of issue for this edition, note: Reprint notice of corrections opposite chapter 1, Only Farmer Giles of Ham on ad card (no Lord of the Rings, published in 1954), and no ad for Lord of the Rings on last page, B in footer of page 17 but nothing on following pages, all indicating this is the 1951 fifth impression edition although no impressions listed on the copyright page

This is the rarest dust-jacket i have had in stock so far. I didnt even know that these existed... The extremely tender dust-jacket has some wear along with it going up about 1 third of the way on one of the flaps. It is though a quite well preserved jacket and extremely well preserved considering how thin it is. Has some other small holes and wear but overall well-preserved. The book is in great condition without any writing but the illustrations seems to have started getting a bit loose. This could obviously easily be fixed by gluing back them though. The book is in excellent condition internally. And all the illustrations has the extra protective sheets in great condition. The book is in good condition but seems a bit pressed in places outside. The dust-jacket is completely unrestored and has no tape or anything like thatThis is about a holy grail for Bland tomtar och Troll collectors. I didnt even know that such early edition came with dust-jackets since i have never seen one..

Missing map. Has some stains inside and also outwardly on pages. But overall good inside since this has previously belonged to a library stains are small inside but there are stains on many pages. Inner part of front and back-board has previous tape-marks the boards outwardly also has this. There is also some now dry waterdamage on boards as seen. Has number stamped and library stamp on printpage. This is the true first edition with 1954 both on titlepage and printpage. There is some wear on both low down on spine and high up. The book has been reglued on spine and also inside to make binding tighter. A true first edition of the american Fellowship of the ring. The jacket is not a original one but a facsimile.

A really nice set. Fellowship has some tears on jacket that has been closed with some tape on inside. The two towers dust-jacket is excellent with a small closed tear on front of jacket. Return of the king also excellent with a blue stain on back of jacket. All the books are in great condition with vibrant gilt and no writing with intact maps in very good conditions. Return of the king book has a stain if looked from up to down on outside of pages. A very nice set.

The unrestored dust-jackets are all in excellent condition. Both the fellowship and the two towers only have very small tears and are in stunning condition. The return of the king Is also in great condition but has some tears along with a bit of a bigger one by the spine of the jacket. It also has one smaller on lower part of spine and where the flap begins. All jackets have some small stains outside (they are completely fresh internally with only a slight bit of red colour(coloured from the book). Very common in lotr editions and its just a little bit on these. All of the dust-jacketd have some darkening to spine of jackets.The books all have intact maps and the books are in great condition with some small stains on boards the pages are fresh and in very nice condition. The gilt on all books are vvery vibrant and looks entirely fresh.These books and jackets are in superb condition...

Some small wear to corners as per usual. Has some small whitening on lower part of spine probably from very minor previous moiisture-damsge. This wont worsen though and is now completely dry.Some small scuffs in places. A small white place on back were the red is. Some small stains inside and two dog-eared pages.Very scarce overall and even more so in this superb condition.

Fellowship is 3rd impression the two towers stated second but with date on only one place so third impression. All books have stains on boards. Two towers date in one place. The fellowship has a map although it is loose. It has some wear where it has started going up a bit. The binding isnt 100% tight but holds upp pretty well. It has a name on front-free endpage and some info of Silmarillion glued on the inside of another front-free endpage. It also has a larger stain on low part of the outer part of the pages. The pages are otherwise fresh. Fellowship is in fair condition.The two towers is in good condition. It has some wear lower down but has an intact map and is in good condition overall. It has a library stamp of inner part of end-board. The map is intact and in very good condition.The rotk has quite much wear to outer part of binding Hay written on front-free endpage and is quite stained on boards. True first in swedish. Kometjakten well-preserved first edition 1946.slight mark on back from previous price, some stains on cover. Small wear by lower part of spine. Binding sturdy. A small stain on last few pages low down.Some discolouration on back/stains. Much more well-preserved than it usually is.

Text in swedish. A very well-kept example. Has an inscription on the front-free endpage that has been erased. However, it was written in a rather strong hand, so you can see but only a little as it has been erased out with an eraser. Very little chipping in the back at the top and a little faded back. Very small hole in the center of the back. A little wear in the corners as usual. Definitely an unusually good example.

Signed med varma hälsningar Tove Jansson (With warm wishes Tove Jansson). I think that this is a library binding since i have seen this on different bindings but not completely sure. It is nevertheless extremely hard to find such a early moominbook as this one signed by Tove. This is the third moominbook. The book is in really good condition. The pages are fresh
