Assistance, under the command of Captain Sir Edward Belcher, C.B., in search of John Franklin, during the years 1852-53-54. with notes on the natural history by Sir John Richardson, Professor Owen, Thomas Bell, J.W. Salter, and Lovell Reeve, in Two Volumes. Volume I has half of the spine missing, boards are intact, corners are worn and bent. Volume I contains several pull out maps and both volumes contain many interesting drawings and charts. A unique set.

This first edition of Wilde's play, limited to 500 copies, was published a year before his masterpiece, "The Importance of Being Earnest". Publisher's bookplate front pastedown, hinges starting, fading to spine cloth. Pink cloth with gilt trim and gilt decorations, edges untrimmed.

Of this first book published at The Slide Mountain Press Reno, Nevada, 171 copies have been printed, 12 of which are for presentation, each copy signed by the author. Copy number 5. Plain green boards with slight shop wear. This 7 page poem is in lovely condition.

Large folio; 183 pp. of heavy paper stock with 70 full page black & white illustrations. Brown faux leather boards elaborately, pictorially illustrated in bright gilt & black. All edges gilt. Much wear on edges and esp. around spine. Gilt is bright and interior is bright. Amazing illustrations. Signed by orginal owner "Christmas 1882" and signed by most recent owner. Front end paper is loose.

Boston: Dana Estes and Co.. Decorative Cloth. Good to Very Good/Good -. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Harry Rountree. Book is blue cloth with an illustrated pastedown of children riding on a lily pad. Lettering is dark blue, dust jacket is blue with dark blue writing. Book has no publishing date, but appears to be a first edition. Beautiful color and black and white illustrations by Rountree. DJ is torn in several places and discolored. Book has bumped corners and bumped on the top and bottom of spine. Otherwise a lovely copy.

Philadelphia: Robert Desilver, 1818. 1st Edition . Full-Leather. Good/No Jacket as Issued. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Full leather, front hinge is cracked but intact. Some tears in the leather on rear cover, doesn't go through to the boards. Corners are bumped. Spine is darkened and has a small hole which goes through to the filler paper behind the spine. Heel of spine is split about a half inch. Interior pages are lightly foxed. A paste down of the former owners name on front end paper. Volume 1 only

Full red polished calf; double filets, rosette corners. Exquisite dentelles on finely marbled endpapers. One tan and one black morocco labels on gilt spine. Joints lightly rubbed. Stain on rear cover, a very lovely little volume.

A beautiful book black leather with black and green marbled boards, matching marbled endpapers, red silk page marker. Gilt lettering and decoration on cover and spine. Spine has slight rubbing, and corners are bumped. First three pages are foxed, otherwise a clean copy, possibly a first edition.
