Full leather, with raised bands and marbled end-papers. Spine beautifully re-backed, and worn leather boards treated by professional bookbinder. Board edges worn, and corners exposed. Ex-library, with library stamps on title page. Moderate to heavy foxing, slight stains. Overall, in quite good condition, with library stamps on title page being the primary flaw. v, xvi, 907 pages.

Letouzey & Ane, 1895-1920. Quarter leather. Twice weekly journal/periodical from 1895-1920. Complete in 101 Volumes. Leather spines are adorned with gilt decorations. Marbled boards. Marbled end papers. Edge worn, bumped, and scuffed though still sturdy boards. Some curling at corners of boards. Leather spines are scuffed as well. Moderate to heavy foxing throughout. Some leaves are loose, but all attached.

Philadelphia: Published for the Author, Wm. McCulloch, Printer, 1815. Full leather. Full leather, edge-worn. Front board nearly detached. A few first leaves starting to come loose. Foxing. Newspaper clipping pasted inside front cover. Association: Inscribed by author to George Bourne. Charles Thomson was a Patriot leader in Philadelphia during the American Revolution and the Secretary of the Continental Congress (1774-1789) throughout its existence. George Bourne (1780-1845) was a 19th-century American abolitionist and editor credited as the first public proclaimer of 'immediate emancipation without compensation' of American slaves. 200, 50 pages.

A. Paris: Chez, Debure & N. M. Tilliard, 1772. Quarter leather. 12mo. Complete set in 15 volumes. Quarter leather binding with marbled boards. Gold gilt decorations along spines. Fore-edges of leaves are marbled as well. All volumes are badly worn and scuffed. Spines are badly damaged; with some of the volumes missing large pieces of the leather spine blocks. Leather is cracking, chipped and flaking away. Boards are worn and scuffed. Some corners are starting to curl. Spines/board seams are cracking all the way down, but boards are still attached. Moderate foxing throughout.

Henry Denham for Thomas Chard, 1584. Full leather. Full leather, professionally and beautifully restored. Original boards, spine re-backed in contemporary style. Ex-library, with minimal library matter (blind-stamps). Early owner's name on title page. Small stains to upper page edges. Light wear to boards. Moderate to heavy foxing. Otherwise very good overall.

Full leather with raised bands and gilt decorations along spine and board edges. Boards are scuffed and chipped, with the leather rubbed away in a few spots. Spine edges and board corners are curling and worn. Light to moderate foxing. Front board is slightly concave. Glued end papers are wrinkled and bumped. [4], 74, 16; [6], 88, [1] pages. Rome: Antonii de Rubeis apud Pantheon in via Seminarii Romani, 1750. Vellum. Volume 1 only. Contents: [Add. t.-pl., t.-p.] - Erudito Lectori - Index Tabularum - Animadversationes Joh. Bottarii [with pl. I-VI] - Index Rerum - [Plates 1-90]. Elephant folio in rubbed and worn vellum. Vellum torn at spine edges and splitting along front joint, worn away at board corners. Title block mostly chipped away. Moderate foxing, a few small damp-stains. Otherwise quite sound. With added engraved title page plate (dated 1748) and title-page vignette, signed as drawn and engraved by Giuseppe Vasi. Most plates show Gio. Domen Camiglia's signature as draughtsman, as well as their various engravers' signatures (P. Anton Pazzi, Carlo Gregori, Nicola Billy, Silvestro Pomared, Girolamo Rossi, Francesco Massoni/Mazzoni, Pietro Parocel, N, Abtibuib Corsi, Nicola Guttierez, Gio. Batta Sintes). London: Bernard Lintot, 1704. Full leather. Very good. 16mo. Rebacked in matching brown calf, original boards show moderate wear to extremities; ffep missing, otherwise a clean, sharp copy. An important text in the history of philosophy and theology. At the end of Toland’s trajectory from Roman Catholicism to Presbyterianism to Deism to Pantheism, Toland cast an innovative immanentist metaphysic by way of Spinoza and Leibnitz.

Tipped in stickers at pastedown front paper, and stamps on title pagesindicate possibly ex-library. Boards are gentlybowed. Most hinges are weak, but all boardsare firmly attached. Leather’s surface iscracked. Corners are curling, scuffed, chippedand missing leather on most volumes. Spineedges are worn and missing some pieces.Moderate to heavy foxing throughout. Engraved plates throughout, two fold-out topographical maps. Some wear and rubbing to cover, spine edges chipped. Moderate to heavy foxing. Otherwise in excellent condition. Beautifully marbled end papers. Spines sunned and stained, some scuffing to boards, worn boardcorners; moderate to heavy foxing. First volume's front blank's upper corner torn away. Sound otherwise. Due to the weight of these volumes, shipping will cost more than the standard rate indicated on some websites.

Francofurti: Sumptibus Johannis Wilhelmi Ammonii, Apud Nicolaum Schumannum, 1656. Full leather. 4to, In slightly worn original calf. Rebacked in speckled calf contrast spine, with period blind ornaments, raised bands. Repaired hinges, early owners' names within, heavy foxing, slight worming (text unaffected).
