V2 - 3.13lbs/931 pgs.V3 - 3.13lbs/1409 pgs. V4 - 3.15 lbs./1906 pgs. + 4 pgs. corrections and additions. Each Vol. inside cover has what appears to be a calling card and inscription from a giftgiver. The covers are maroon with gold gilt. There is gold gilt on the top edge of the pages and the other two sides are rough-cut. Some large illustrations are protected by tissue. The back endpaper of V1 is slightly separated; V2. has some light foxing on the back endpaper; V3 has some tanning of the inside front cover and front endpaper; V4 is the best. Each has an front endpaper image from the cards, but V4's is light.

The book was printed privately. It is a very small book of five pages. The cover is blue with gold gilt and black blank inlaid decoration. There is slight edge wear on the upper and lower spine/ corner tips. The book is in very good condition for being published in 1899. The first blank page has the corner tip missing. There is an inscription on the third blank page as a gift from son to father dated February 27, 1899. This book is a collector's item. These neat dark green volumes include maps. There is some cracking of the inside cover paper from the spines and covers, as well as an owners name and some numbers on the title page corner, and some prior booksellers stuff on the front endpaper. There is more spinewear than edgewear and cornerwear on these. Some very minor shelfwear on the covers. The pages have the expected light tanning, but are intact.
