Jacket is rubbed with light shelfwear and some foxing to both recto and verso. Top edge of boards lightly sunned. Binding is sound. Light foxing to preliminaries.

A sound very good or better copy in black cloth covers with slight dulling of spine lettering. The price-intact dustwrapper has some small chipping at the spine crown and minor wear to spine lettering. Nice copy overall.

A CASE OF SAMPLES: POEMS 1946-1956, Gollancz, 1956, first edition, just about fine in vg dust-wrapper save for some light tanning to the dust-wrapper spine and a small chip missing from the rear dust-wrapper panel. Formerly close friend and fellow writer Harry Harrison's copy with his ownership signature on the f.e.p. Nice association thus.
