This is the promotional mock-up of ALOUD - A Literary Quarterly that was supposed to be an annual quarterly published by the Harbourfront Reading Series. Due to lack of funding, this quarterly was never published. This issue was edited by Greg Gatenby and featured a cover image of Margaret Atwood as well as a two page excerpt by Atwood "Tropical Botany Cafe Con Carbon" from a "Novel in Progress." The complete two page excerpt text will be provided electronically to the buyer of this article "Novel in Progress", titled in the magazine, "Tropical Botany Cafe Con Carbon".
