Best remembered as the author of the Christian allegory The Pilgrim's Progress, English writer and Puritan preacher John Bunyan wrote nearly sixty titles throughout the course of his lifetime, many of them expanded sermons. Bunyan after joining the Bedford Meeting, a nonconformist group in Bedford and soon became a preacher.
