Light undulations to the text block as viewed from the top and front edges. The binding is tight, though slightly rolled forward. The title page displays the former owner's stamp - ""T.B. Brooks Iron Expert Marquette, L.S. Mich. Dec 16 1872"". Interior pages are unmarked, but tanned as expected for a sesquicentenary work. No dust jacket.
