This the is the first 'trade' edition, but is also signed and dated on slip tipped in at the copyright page. Octavo, 9" tall, xiv + 311 pages + black and white plate pages, gilt top fore-edge and gilt titles on brown cloth. A very good, generally clean and neat hard cover over all with minor shelf wear; binding tight, but paper lightly yellowed. In a very good minus, moderately worn dust jacket, BUT with cloth tape applied to the blank reverse at the top and bottom edges.
