Bound in publisher's dark green cloth with elaborate gilt stamping on upper board and spine; top edge guilt and other edges rough cut. About Fine. A stunning copy with slight rubbing at the extremities, gilt stamping is sharp and bright. Former owner name to front free endpaper, very slight crease to the first several pages, contents bright.

Signed by Cormac McCarthy and inscribed to a former owner on the half title page, "For Ken / This one's for you / All best [signed] Cormac". A stunning copy of the author's fifth novel, which though published to lukewarm praise is now viewed as his magnum opus.

Publisher's cloth green cloth, with gilt stamping and title blocked in black on the spine, with vivid dark blue topstain. Light foxing to textblock edge, slight tape ghosts and offsetting from an old-style asphaultic edged dust jacket protector to endsheets and bookseller ticket to half-title page, else Fine, in a like unclipped dust jacket with trivial edge wear; offsetting and thin abrasion from the old jacket protector confined to the flaps, light toning and faint foxing to the blindside. A fantastic copy, scarce in such nice condition.

London: Collins Harvill, 1967. First Edition. Fine/Near Fine. First British edition, first printing. Bound in publisher's green cloth with titles stamped in gilt on the spine. One creased corner and pages lightly tanned, else Fine in a Near Fine or better dust jacket with a faint crease to the spine panel, trivial soiling mostly to edges and two tape abrasions to the spine on the blindside, but on the whole a fantastic copy.

Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1951. First Edition. Fine/Near Fine. First edition stated, first printing of one of the most iconic novels to come out of the twentieth century. [vi], 277 pp. Bound in publisher's black cloth with spine lettered in gilt. Slight rubbing to gilt at rear edge of spine, otherwise Fine. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with a discrete 1.25" closed tear to the top edge of the front panel, spine panel lightly toned and lightly rubbed with a chip at the foot, and light areas of wear to the rear panel. A simply stunning copy of Salinger's masterpiece.

[iv], 310 pp. Bound in publisher's original black cloth stamped in white with red topstain. Near Fine with very faint cup ring to rear board, tanning to pages. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket ($3.95) with light rubbing, minor spine sunning. A lovely copy of this Beat cornerstone.

New York: Bantam Books, 1972. First Edition. Near Fine. Thirty-third printing of the Bantam mass market edition. Signed by J.D. Salinger and inscribed to former owner on front free endpaper "To Ruth Rogers, in friendship, [signed] J. D. Salinger / Daytona Beach March 1973." Rogers was a holistic doctor who touted the benefits vitamin C. Bound in publisher's original red wrappers with yellow lettering. Near Fine with light creasing to spine, small tear to bottom edge of front joint and minor wear to extremities. Contents minimally toned. A superlative mass market copy of this angsty coming-of-age classic. Signed copies of this title are exceedingly scarce.

Near Fine with minor lean to binding, light wear, slight fading and soiling to boards with a small stain to the front cover. Fantastic homemade bookplate of Zeus on front pastedown. A lovely copy of Hesse's classic philosophical novel.

The first appearance of Nabokov's still-controversial novel from Maurice Girodias's pioneering, Paris-based publishers Olympia Press. Housed in a custom levant leather chemise case tooled in gilt with striking marbled covers.

In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket, lightly toned and with some faint streaks of browning as typically seen with this dust jacket, and a small strip of offsetting to the blindside at the spine. A much nicer copy than normally encountered of the author's scarce first novel.

Somewhat common as a first printing, though not common in such nice condition.
