Jonathan Cape, 1924. Hardcover. Good. 1924. First Edition. 352 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Prominent clipping to front free endpaper. Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light creasing to gutters but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

Curiously, Hemingway's name was misspelled as "Hemenway" on the contents page, and on the 1st page of his story. The book is dedicated to Hemingway - the 1st printing also had the misspelling on the dedication page, though it has been corrected here in this 2nd printing.At the back of the book is a section titled "The Yearbook" that contains various literary categories - five of these categories list F.
