This copy is signed by Shepard himself in a limited run of 500 books to have been so, and has an introduction by China Mi�ville.

Autobiographical account of the adventures of John D Craig (1903-97) the American diver, stuntman and film producer, best known for using film and tv to bring the underwater world to a wide audience. Scarce.

Rare Golden Age sci-fi title, not on COPAC.

A clean bright copy with very minor bruise to lower corner of lower board. Inscribed to title page: "To Christopher Borwick with best wishes from Alex Graham Jan. 1970". The letter is also dated 1970 to Mr Borwick, and refers to the request for his inscription and to the purchase of originals and copies of Graham's work. Alexander Graham (1913-1991) the Scottish cartoonist, was the creator of the popular character Fred Basset, published in the Daily Mail newspaper.
