Very nice hand colored lithograph depicting the 2nd battle of Bull Run. A few spots in the sky (see image) otherwise remarkably clean and bright copy. Lithograph 16 1/2 x 12 1/4 inches, plate 20 3/4 x 17 1/2 inches.

Total of 83 postcards: 69 color and 14 black and white and/or sepia toned; some of which are hand-colored. Depicts many different locations such as O.C. Barber's Barn, Farm, and Mansion, Barberton Fire Station No. 1, Diamond Match Factory and Shop, Lake Anna, and also several churches, avenues, and commercial businesses. Some postcards never sent and so has no handwriting, although a good portion have been addressed with a message and an adhered one cent stamp. Condition of postcards range from Fine to Good, although the majority are Fine with only a few in the Good criterion; those that are Good have wear to edges and creasing (see images). Each postcard generally 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Shipped through boxed USPS Priority mail.

One partly-printed military commisssion on vellum signed by Lincoln as president and countersigned by Edwin M. Stanton as Secretary of War dated May 16th, 1863. The document commissions Benjamin H. Geary as Second Lieutenant to the 13th Infantry Regiment on August 13th, 1862. Accession note to top left.

Attractive half burgundy fine grain morocco with marbled boards and gilt title to spine. Five raised bands and gilt particulars to partitions. Gilt top edge. Matching marbled endpapers. Two linen backed fold-out maps, one of which takes up significant space in the book and is dated 1899 (see image). The Adirondack Mountains Pp. 84; A Summer Paradise Pp. 267. Numerous half-page maps and photographs also throughout. Top corner of first title is missing and has been repaired. Book measures 4.25 x 8 in

This original nineteenth century gouache is possibly a proposal for McCormick's Advance Reaper. Depicted are cherubs riding moths with the foremost cherub holding a bundle of wheat in one hand and a golden sickle raised in the other. Around the cherubs are what appear to be yellow fringed tulips. Frame: 9 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches. Image: 7 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches. Recent mahogany frame.

Two volume set. Partially recassed with original red cloth. Gilt particulars to front covers and spines. Twelve plates. Previous owner's name and date to front endpapers. Wear to corners, as well as to heads and tails of spines (see image). Overall clean interiors with no other markings. Vol. I pp. 514 and Vol. II pp. 517 with 8 pages of ads to rear. 6.5 x 9.25 in
