An extensive and unusually detailed history, particularly strong on the late nineteenth and early twentieth-century corporate history. Portraits. Maps. Original cloth gilt; sprinkled edges; a little worn and faded; a touch rolled; endpapers slightly tanned, but a good and serviceable copy of a valuable account. Loosely inserted is a postcard of old East Ham Church, dated 1904 in manuscript. and addressed to Mrs (Emily) Noble of Barking.

A good unbroken run of the now discontinued local history magazine relating to all aspects of the life and history of the East End of London - a mine of fascinating and out of the way information - issues 1-19. Copper line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 184 x 277mm (approx. 7-1/4" x 10-7/8"). Slight nick to upper margin, a few minor marks to outer blank margins, some faint wear and creasing in places, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Dated 1842 in the plate and published by John & Frederick Harwood of Fenchurch Street. Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 117 x 145mm (approx. 4-5/8" x 5-3/4").
