Central col. motif recto fr. fly + engr. t.p. + printed t.p. + viii + 384, 8 engr. plates ex-pagination with tissue guards, assume non missing though un-numbered and unlisted, all edges gilt; yellow end-papers all have a large central dark bordered rectangle, cause unclear, does not seem to be dust as resists erasure, early (original?) small gift inscription top outer corner fr. end-paper, gutter opening before engr. t.p. but fairly secure, verso this t.p. heavily edge-tanned and more lightly so to printed t.p., engr. plates also affected by tanning.
