Some scuffing and marking to cover but dark blue colouring still quite vivid and gilt lettering and design on spine very clear; rubbing and signs of shelf-wear to boards and spine, a couple of bumped corners; front inner hinge loose although still just attached; page edges with some marking and slight foxing towards extremities, nevertheless reasonably clean for the most part although a stain is visible at the top of the outer edge; page surfaces generally clean with no underling, marginalia, etc., a nice copy.

Outer and lower page edges a little browned. Upper edge is gilt. Some scuffs and marks to edges.
