William Nimmo, stationer and printer in Leith since 1849, had his premises at 54 Constitution street since 1866 under his own name, and between 1881 and 1886 as William Nimmo & Co. After that he moved to a different address.

In the publisher's textured salmon paper-covered boards and gilt-stamped brown cloth spine. The first re-edition of the earliest English bookbinding manuals, both are extremely rare in the original edition. One of 500 copies only.
