Signed. First Edition. Fine/fine. Distaffs are hand tools used for weaving. Used worldwide until the Industrial Revolution and the availability of ready made fabric. They are a rural cultural touchstone and considered Folk Art. Book and jacket are in fine, like new condition. Author has inscribed and signed on the half title page.

First Edition. Good, no dust jacket. Binding is loose, but intact. There is rubbing all around, especially at the head and tail of the spine. The corners are remarkably square and the pages are clean and unmarked. At 6.8 lb, I will not ship overseas.
