One of 195 copies all on Brentwood vellum paper, each numbered and signed by the author and artist on the colophon page. 8vo, [34pp;] 10 illustrations by Robert Parker, each hand colored, with Addendum laid in as well as announcement of publication from the Museum of Modern Art. Brown paper and cloth over boards, author, artist, and title in gilt on spine, matching publisher's slipcase with white label printed in grey, fine with the usual wrinkling to paper where watercolored. Published under the director of Monroe Wheeler, this is the third in a series of limited editions published by The Museum of Modern Art. Printed by Edward Katz at the Crafton Graphic Company it is set in Michelangelo and Palatino by Hermann Zapf. The text reproduces Miss Moore's handwriting. A handsome publication and one of the noted poet's scarcer books.

Green, each copy numbered and signed by both artists, Virgil Thomson and Maurice Grosser. Etchings and aquatints by Gabriela Aberastury, this copy one of the publisher's copies. Page size: 13-1/4 inches x 10 inches; 176pp; each page an original print - and many times several different print processes. Bound: loose in original black wrappers with Hebrew letter (Aleph) engraved in silver gilt on front panel and spine, housed in gray cloth over boards clamshell box with original etching on front of box, title printed in black on the spine, box a bit dinged at edges, book fine. Started in 1984 and finished 13 years later under the direction of Samuel Cesar Palui and printed by Ruben R. Lapolla. Small folio, handsomely bound in 3/4 red morocco with paste-paper over boards, gilt fillets, spine panelled, title and author in gilt, top edge gilt, original wrapper bound in, fine. Illustrated with colored lithographs.

Buenos Aires: Ediciones Dos Amigos, 1985. One of 60 copies on Arches from a total issue of 62, numbered and signed by the publisher, Samuel Cesar Palui, on Ingres cream paper. Illustrated with two original full-page aquatints by Aida Carballo that were editioned with the aid of Mirta Ripoll. The text, which which contains seven original poems by Braulio Arenas in addition to one translation by Braulio Arenas, was hand set and printed letterpress by Ruben Raul Lapolla in 18pt Garamond in two colors, red for the poems' titles and initial letters and black for the text. The poem by Rimbaud, "El Barco Ebrio" ("Le Bateau Ivre") has been translated from the original French to Spanish by Braulio Arenas. The tan Ingres text pages of Rimbaud's poem are loosely inserted as pp. 17-24 in the verses of EL MUNDO POETICO DE BRAULIO ARENAS. Text a bit browned, else fine.

Paris: Terquem, 1927. One of 980 on velin marais, from a total issue of 1100. Each copy is paraphed by the publisher. Illustrated with 10 colored engravings by Charles Laborde, each full page hors texte, pulled by Monnard and colored by the great Saude. The text was printed by Coulouma, H. Barthelemy, Directeur. Page size: 8-3/4 x 6-3/4", handsomely bound in 3/4 green crushed morocco and pastepaper boards, gilt fillets, spine paneled, five compartments, author, title and date in gilt in two, gilt and blind tooling, red onlays forming elaborate Renaissance-style design in three compartments, top edge gilt, original wrappers bound in, some rubbing to bottom edges. Terquem published two different editions of Laborde's etchings for ELOGE DE LA FOLIE in 1927. The etchings in each are different.

Artist's book, one of 50 copies,all on Canson paper in several colors (blue, cream, beige, grey, lavender), signed by the artist on each of the two etchings in pencil and dated "88". Page size: 9-13/16 x 6-1/2 inches; 32pp. Bound: loose as issued in red wrappers printed in black with author and title; housed in custom-made orange cloth over boards clamshel box with "a sus amigo" printeded in dark orange and the name of the press and paraphe, box a bit rubbed, but book is fine. These two poems by Pablo Neruda, printed by Ruben Paul LaPolla in black, red, green, blue, and brown ink (often two colors per page) were set by hand by Samuel Cesar Palui in 12pt Garamond. Ernesto Lowenstein oversaw the printing of this lovely New Year's greeting for friends of the press. This is a lovely book of verse complemented with two stunning etchings by Alicia Scavino - mystical, magical, and a loving homage to the poet.
